Written by Dan Boaz | Jul 16, 2015

The demand for hot shot trucking is heating up for the summer and for the energy sector and for oil field support trucking that applies in Canada as well as the United States. This weekend sees one of the largest trucking events taking place north of the border as the Canadian Trucking Show is set to take place in Winnipeg, Manitoba on July 18 & 19.

The venue chosen this year is the Husky Travel Centre at 5141 Portage Ave, Headingley, MB, RH4 1E1. The same link also provides a full list of vendors plus a comprehensive site map for those attending the event. Billed as the biggest truck gathering in Western Canada, the weekend event features live music, over forty vendors, fireworks, simulators, dunk tanks, towing displays and a truck judging show plus some extra special secrets.

Truck parking for the event is available throughout the day this Friday, July 17th. Admission is available both days from 10 am with festivities coming to a close with the fireworks show on Saturday evening at 10 pm and the end of the weekend comes at 5 pm Sunday. Prizes and vendors are all part of the fun and a special appearance by the Ice Road Truckers is also promised.
